The Somatic Training got accredited as an Somatic Training Institute - Level 1. fromThe United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP).
Somatic Training Institutes - Level 1 are established leaders in somatic education, offering rigorous programs that lead to Practitioner Certification in their specific modality. Graduates qualify for Somatic Practitioner level membership and, with a license, can also qualify for Somatic Psychotherapist membership in USABP, gaining eligibility for the Find-A-Therapist section and the members-only referral directory. The United States Association for Body Psychotherapy believes that integration of the body and mind is essential to effective psychotherapeutic health. To that end, its mission is to develop and advance the art, science, and practice of body psychotherapy and somatic psychology in a professional, ethical, and caring manner in order to support our membership as they promote the health and welfare of their clients. |

Dieter Rehberg achieved a Master of Arts in Professional Practice Somatic Studies at Middlesex University / London UK. His research for the MA was about :” Mental Health and Cellular Somatizations in the Somatic Method PME”. “Through the theoretical as well as the somatic research a cognitive theme emerged, which is the idea, that all cellular somatizations, in all different aspects have an intimate relationship to the basic mental needs, and that these needs could be fulfilled through somatic somatizations on a very basic, and therefore very deep and satisfying level.” |
