Basic Somatic Training

This is a 250 hour training, to become a " Somatic Trainer".
It is certified by the "Akademie für Physio-Mentale Entwicklung" Vienna / Austria.
It is part 1 of the 500 hours training to become a "Somatic Movement Therapist."

What

This training consists of the following parts:

Why this training


  • it is much cheaper than other trainings.
  • you have more skills after 500 hours compared to other trainings: you can work with clients plus can teach. 
  • no additional costs for accomodation and travel
  • high flexibility as this is the only somatic training that is completely online. It is easier to do besides family and work obligations.
  • the learning experience is deeper, more comprehensive and more sustainable through:
    • small group
    • personal attention from teachers
    • personal envolvement through the possibiltiy of giving individual feedback
    • support of your personal process
  • through the constructivist approach of PME you can more easily integrate PME in your existing skills and knowledge and develop your own work.

Modular Version

Structure

  • You have to be registered once to participate. (register here)
  • Modules can be booked individually.  (all bookings)
  • You can start with every module, but the foundation module should be before or during your first module. (see calender)
  • All modules are hybrid: both offline in the studio "Zentrum Paradies" and live streamed via zoom.
  • You only need a study-partner for the online version of the module "somatic touch & healing dance". This study-partner does not have to pay extra, and does not have to follow the whole basic somatic training. ( But he could, if he likes to). The study-partner has to be commited for at least one entire weeklong workshop of the module "somatic touch & healing dance".
  • After each module a feedback has to be written ( 1-3 pages).
  • For Certification you need to attend 80% of the classes and submit all homework and feedbacks.
  • Missed classes can be repeated the following year or with video-recordings of classes (not all classes will be recorded)
  • Workload all together 250 hours

 Module 2: Anatomical Embodiment & Somatic Movement

Module 4: Somatic Touch & Healing Dance Module

  • 2 weeklong workshops ( 40 hours each )
Module 4 is dual/hybrid, it is streamed completely from the studio.
You can participate in the studio ( zentrum paradies - Forchtenstein / Austria) or at home completely online.
You only need a study partner for the online version of  " Module 4: Somatic Touch & Healing Dance" . This study partner does not have to pay extra and does not have to complete the entire basic somatic training. (But he could if he wanted to). The study partner has to be committed for at least one entire weeklong workshop of  "Module 4: Somatic Touch & Healing Dance" .

The participation in a workshop, class or a coaching (live or online) prior to the training is required.
